Nicolai Hans has been a Scientific Associate at the office of the Council of Experts on Climate Change (ERK) since July 2022. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and his Master’s degree in Applied Statistics at the University of Göttingen. After his studies, he interned at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC). Before joining the scientific staff of the ERK, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Statistics and Data Science research group at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
