Friederike Beck has been a research associate for the Council of Experts on Climate Change (ERK) since June 2026. She has worked as a research associate at the Chair of Mobility Policy at the Technical University of Munich since 2024. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Politics and Technology from the Technical University of Munich.
Her doctoral research has examined individual preferences regarding transport policy measures and disruptive interventions. She is currently researching potential governance approaches for autonomous driving. She is part of the team behind the Mobility Club podcast, which explores international issues in transport and mobility research from a European perspective.
