Dr. Franziska Schulz has been a Scientific Associate at the office of the Council of Experts on Climate Change (ERK) since October 2022. She completed her Master’s degree in Statistics at the Humboldt University of Berlin and her Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Operations Research at Maastricht University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. During her PhD in Statistics and Econometrics at Humboldt University, her research focused on the development of probabilistic time series models to quantify risks in energy markets.Before joining the ERK, she worked at Energy Brainpool GmbH and the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety.
